what the problen SC372 code for Ricoh aficio 551??

An output FIFO error occurs while outputting image processing in the ASIC
(IMACB), which handles image compression and image data transmission.

-Possible cause-
• BICU defective

I've not had this one before so I've no additional information to add.

I can tell you FIFO means First In First Out.

How i to repair it?
Changer the BICU board or Drum Unit?

As others say worth checking all the connections and go though the whole machine just to make sure no other problem with the copier which is causing the problem before swaping the board.
