    MPC6000 firmware

    Just curious if SC 819 can be caused by firmware versions. Intermittent SC819;sometimes 1x weekly,sometimes not for 3 months,I have swapped the controller but the customer is still annoyed.Ideas??

    Thats one possiblility, heres some more.:

    Fatal kernal error - Controller defective
    Fatal kernal error - memory dimm defective
    Fatal kernal error - Optional board defective, remove all options.
    Fatal kernal error - reload all firmware
    fatal kernel error - Format HDD'S SP 5832-1
    Fatel kernal error - Controller - replace nvram
    Watchdog error - Install System/Copy Firmware version 1.04 or later.
