we have a couple of these m/c's in the field and they seem to use pcu's up long before the 60k life span i ve changed the clutch's on one and it seem's fine now but is there any other ways of Extending drum life???
thanks mark
no we do change them at 60k, but sometimes we can get as little as 10k and i just wondered if they was anything apat from the clutchs that could cause this?
The clutches are not driving the PCU Units. The clutches are used for Development Units. When the clutches are bad they can cause developer dropping on the Transfer Belt. Are you using the right toner?
we use OEM toner as far as i know, but we did have prob's with drum life, when we used copy toner, ill check that we have not gone back too the dark side
