Customer called for SC400 error on this machine !
I cleaned the ID sensors and its guide bracket.
Made test prints and copys with no errors.
However, today a new call that the error returned.
Never seen this problem on this machine, so the ID sensors must be replaced or need it to be adjusted ?

I have encountered the same problem and I tried to clean the ID sensor but the error showed intermittently. Performed some adjustment but no luck.I replaced the ID sensor board in order to resolve the problem permanently.

Also check your transfer belt for bad spots. I have had the ID sensors go bad and also a bad belt cause this.
