Our Savin dealer sent multiple techs out and they never did solve the problem. They told us it was our network causing the problem, so we put the copier/scanner on its own network and it worked for about a week and then.....same problem! We ended up buying a new machine.

      I made some progress.
this is what the system is setup as.
      1. The server is windows 2003 setup with domain
      2. Clients are logging in as remote profile on Domain.
      3. ScanRouter v2 is installed on server and is successfully communicating with Ricoh copier providing as Delivery Server.
      4. DeskTopBinder Lite & Auto Document Link is installed on Clients.
      5. all firewalls are off!

Problem: Auto Document Link sees the 'Delivery Server' on server, but gets "connection to the server has failed" when you try to connect to it.

I did a change up, testing client to client, moving software etc . . , finally got a hit. when I log into a client locally with the same login/pass as an admin on Server, it worked.
So it looks like a permission problem on server.
now I need to figure out how to do this without compromising the security on the server, read some more and now notice this in ScanRouter system requirements it says:
      • Do not install ScanRouter V2 Lite in a computer used as mail server, Web server, database and so on.
      • For Windows NT server or windows 2000 server, install ScanRouter V2 Lite in a stand-alone server. Do not install it in a primary domain controller or backup domain controller.

ok! so there is my answer!
looks like I need to put ScanRouter on another computer.

that sucks they write a program for server and you can't put it on a server.
