hello, i've a problem whith Ricoh MP C2800. when the copy wakes up from energy-save mode ,the panel displays no paper in the 2nd,3rd,4th paper tray.but actually there are full of paper in the tray . it just the motor won't lift . i pull out the paper tray , then push into backward . the motor lift again ,it works fine . otherwise it just displays no paper . there are no sc code displayed.i can't figure out ,any suggestion i'll be aprreciated

Firstly, the trays dont lower unless you run out of paper or open the tray, so it is strange that coming out of ES the trays need to be raised. But for whats its worth:
Put the machine into ES, put a meter on the lift motor and bring it out of ES. If 24V appears, replace the motor, if not replace the IO board.sigpic

What is the state of the end paper sensors in 2 those trays? Dusty, missing, knocked out of place?"See if you can rent a spring hook and a phillips screwdriver it will make your life that much easier..."Comment
