    Gx 3050n light streaking

    Hi all
Have a Ricoh Gx3050n with light streaks apx 1 1/4 inches apart.Did a print head test and the yellow is faded in the middle of the grid and the red is bleeding a little . I'm thinking its the print head..so is this a common problem and is the printhead a pain to replace.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Geo
P.S Anybody know the cost of the head ,need to give a quote.

Don't bother trying to replace the print head, it's cheaper just to buy a whole new machine.

With regard to the fault, clean the horizontal and vertical encoders and run a head cleaning and flush in the Maintenance section of user tools. There is a "super" flush in SP modes that you can do if the UT flush fails.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

I will try cleaning the encoders . Did a head cleaning and flush without luck. If you don't mind can you give the procedure to get into sp to do the "super duper " flush.
      Thanks for your help.
