I've been trying to fix this old slant drum design POS for two weeks and get nowhere. I have had the machine control panel go black (dead) while the main power light is still on about 10 times a day and not come up unless you reset the main power switch. The hidden service codes indicate firmware/software errors. Firmware update, new controller, and even a new hard drive pack have got me no change. There is some indication on the gooses guide that it could be a printer timeout setting? Another tech within my company said he had something similar on a much newer color machine. He told me there is a setting within the user tools that tech support had him change but he cant remember what it was. Unfortunately tech support wont touch this machine due to age. Any suggestions would be much appreciated (besides the obvious roll it out into the street).

Although all of the codes you list do exist, the only one that my Goose's Guide refers to is the SC990, and it suggests replacing lens Block Assy.
I don't have access to any TSB's now, but it seems to me that I read something a while ago about a modified Lens block for this machine due to a problem, but I could be wrong.
