    [Misc] Ricoh Aficio MP5001 - Fax (Number of Rings for Pickup)

    Hi All,

    We have a Ricoh Aficio MP5001 in the office here, and when it was initially setup they had it setup to never automatically pick up (I'm guessing the number of rings type param is set to 0 or some such) as opposed to just flagging it for manual pick up. Anyways, I'd like to change that so it will be able to auto pickup, but I can't find the setting for that anywhere in the admin menus on the web interface or on the machine itself.

    If someone could help me out with setting this up to answer on the 2nd ring it'd be VERY much appreciated. I consider myself to be decently tech savvy and this is driving me up the wall.

      Well it's a setting in NCU parameter 06. Bear with me while I try find some more info.


      680576 Number of rings until a call is detected 1
      SP2-103-007 (parameter
      06).
      The setting must not be zero.
      Thats all I can find. Hope it makes some sense to u.
