    RICOH MP C4500

    Greetings everyone,

    I have a few Ricoh mp C4500 copiers I purchased and the "Admin Authentication" is locked out in user tools, I want to be able to set a new Admin password but I do not know how to clear the existing password out.

    can anyone help?

          The default login is "admin", password is left blank. If that has been changed to an unknown, log in as "supervisor" and leave the password blank. In supervisor mode, the only credentials you will have is the ability to reset the administrator login/password. If the supervisor login has been changed to an unknown then it will be necessary to replace the nvram.
