    Aficio 2022 won't network prnt on Windows 7 64 bit

    Customer installed new computer windows 7 - 64 and it won't print to the 2022.

    I tried reinstalling the printer and 3 different drivers (pcl6 - 64, pcl6, pcl5e)

    I can pull it up on the web image monitor and everything shows ready, but when I try to print it just sits there.

    They have 3 other computers and all are printing just fine.

    (PS, I tried posting this post 3 other times and it keeps coming up in "PRINTABLE VIEW" and can't be responded to or edited or deleted, sorry)

      tell the client install new software win7 32 bit that's all

          I have had this on newer OS, try turning off snmp under port configuration and see if that helps.

          I had it where the printer was showing offline on one pc turned this off and all was ok...bit of imcompatibility ibetween them reguarding snmp

              Another thing to try would be changing the port type from RAW to LPR. I think Windows 7 may use a different port for RAW printing than the older operating systems. To make this change:

              Devices and Printers
              Right Click on the 2022 and choose Printer Properties
              Ports
              Configure Port
              Protocol change from RAW to LRP
              LPR Queue name lp
              Press Apply and close all windows

              Hopefully that will help.

                  What happens if you use one of the preinstalled Win 7 drivers instead of the ones downloaded or from the CD? When you add the printer instead of "have disk" use one of the printers from the list, any HP laserjet like a 2200 or 4100, or a Ricoh 2550 or 3010.

                  Another port to try is the optional LPR port. For Win 7 - Control Panel Home, Programs, look for "Turn Features On or Off". Then expand the "Print and Document Services" and check LPR monitor.

                      I have seen Norton cause this.
                      Just trust the copier's IP address in Norton's firewall.
                      Why do they call it common sense?

                      If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?
