    Considering buying a Gestetner DSc428, advice needed please

    Sorry if this is not the right forum, but from my line of work (restaurant equipment) i know the guys who work on the equipment are the best to ask.

    I am thinking of buying a Gestetner DSc428 used and dont want to get into a money pit. Here is what i know

    Out of use in storage for 11 months,
    61k color and 102k B&W cycles
    Some sort of drum replaced 2 years ago...

    Thats all i know!

    What do i need to watch out for and what should a unit like this go for?

          I agree with Tonermunkeh. You could easily be looking at hundreds, and hundreds of dollars just in reqular maintenance items that are overdue (not to mention toner, if it needs it right away) nevermind the other problems that can often come from 'storage' as he stated.
