Does anyone know what SC 548-00 is on a Ricoh digital Aficio 340?

This is what the manual says.

SC548: Fusing unit installation error

- Definition - [A]
The machine cannot detect the fusing unit when the front cover and right cover
are closed.
- Possible causes -

Fusing unit is not installed

Poor fusing unit connection

I have had problems with the receptacle that the fuser plugs into making a connection
