    Ricoh IS760D Scanner part number

Little help please. IS760 scanner is constantly bumping against home position stop, will not stop. Assume the home position sensor is bad. Need a part number please. Or if anyone else has experience with these
scanners I would appreciate any tips on what the problem could be.
    Thanks

If the scanner initializes ok, then the sensor is fine. Check the timing pulley on the scanner motor, that is held in place with a set screw and may be slipping. When the scanner returns at high speed, the motor may stop at the correct time but the pulley slips enough to crash the scanner.
