MP 4000 Doc Feed Jams

Customer is doing large volumes of 2 sided scans.
Doc feeder is jamming frequently. It is jamming just prior to the leading edge appearing in the exit portion of the ADF.

Check the black pockets under the photoreflectors, they get filled with paper dust and will cause a false reading. This is very common and I think is your problem.
Secondly, check the jam codes they will give you and us a clue.
