I believe a bad hard drive on a Ricoh will give ya a please wait..... Try disconnecting them (or it)
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

Have had 569 error in the past and have tracked it back to a faulty vbcu board on this particular model.

"please wait" often point to an HDD problem, so I'd strat by disconnecting them and trying to boot it up as suggested; However, the Sc codes you're getting all seem to point toward the VBCU also as suggested as follows:

SC 569 Pressure roller lift error 2 - Pressure roller lift motor defective
SC 569 Pressure roller lift error 2 - Pressure roller lift motor movement obstructed
SC 569 Pressure roller lift error 2 - Pressure roller lift sensor connection loose or broken
SC 569 Pressure roller lift error 2 - Pressure roller lift sensor dirty or defective
SC 569 Pressure roller lift error 2 - Replace VBCU
SC 569 Pressure roller lift error 2 - Transport / fusing tray connector had paper in it
SC 670 Blown fuse 2 on VBCU due to shorted harness in registration motor harness
SC 670 Engine start up error - Check wiring for df feed in cover..
SC 670 Engine start up error. Check main power supply, cn 409 for 5volts
SC 670 Engine startup error - IOB board defective
SC 670 Engine startup error - LCT lift tray sensor was shorted
SC 670 Engine startup error - Replace finisher main board
SC 670 Engine startup error - Replace laser unit and follow SP adjustments after laser unit replacement
SC 670 Engine startup error - sudden communication reset between controller and VBCU
SC 670 Engine startup error - VBCU defective
SC 670 Engine startup error - VBCU installation incorrect
SC 672 Controller issue - reseat the fax battery board
SC 672 Controller start up error - Check for pinched harness on duplex/fuser exhaust fans

Sounds like a pincher. (Pinched connector.) Most likely the 24v supply to the lift motor. Happened when you rebuilt the unit, happens to the best of us.
All the codes you mentioned are 24v controlled or drive monitor signals.
I tend to mount the brackets by hand and tap them before I tighten screws. A clean mount will sound metal to metal. A pincher will sound dull.

                As always.................
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

I have seen this twice, 1st time it was a faulty fax board, if you have fax fitted remove the fax kit (including the bridge board). 2nd time was after a tech replaced controller, ram in wrong slots - make sure 512 card is in LHS slot and 1gb card in RHS slot. Good luck.

Hiya. I had this. Have you reformatted the HDD and updated the firmware? Worked for me.

Be good to know if you sorted it to help others :0)

I was worried after looking into this code here. I had this sc569 yesterday on a mpc6501 and I guess I got lucky -it was just a sheet that fell behind the transfer/fusing area that slides out and into the connector back there. Whew!
