    LP138c eating pcu....

    Hi All

I have a LP138c in a school that has developed an appetite for Megenta pcu. Late last year it needed the pcu's changing and there after it started to wear out the meg. pcu with in days. I have since replaced the Dev units(new) to no avail and last week put another transfer unit in, still no joy. I have ordered another meg dev unit and will fit that with another new pcu when it arrives....

If any of my learned friends here have any ideas, please do let me know. It's getting a bit costly now

My first thought is that the toner is the cause. Is there a couple of inches band of magenta on the prints?
