Scan to Folder - Ricoh 3245C

Just installed Win 7 Pro x64 machines and scan to folder does not work. Turned off password protected sharing on the machine where the folder is shared - with everyone, full rights. Still no gas.
I believe there must be a firmware update to this machine, but cannot find it anywhere online. Guidance is appreciated.

You need NIB 4.20 firmware

I appreciate the feedback DrJive. I kind of figured it was a firmware upgrade - I just don't have access to download any firmware and was wondering if I could get some help (link to download ) with this download

luke001 - I followed the link and it was to a site that is in czech, although my wife could read it, I will have to wait until she gets home from work.

Read through the czech file, but wonder if the firmware is also the same language

Is this being used on a Home network or Public network sharing ?
Try lowering the file encryption network to "40 -50 bits for older style file sharing."
Have you set the correct Workgroup or Domain to match the same as all the local PC's?

In Win7 Pro try going into control panel |turn on windows extended features| and turn on scanning capabilites.

All PC's are on a local workgroup mode (Workgroup ) until a domain controller is put in place in the next 6 months. Never used encryption on the network.

I called Ricoh, and unless you are a certified tech or reseller, they will not give you access to ANY firmware at all.

If you continue to have issues with SMB setup, Scan To FTP is always an easy and reliable solution, and firmware is never an issue.
I use Filezilla FTP Server. It works flawlessly

a very good and valid idea i tried explaining it to the client but as u might know the look and reply can be summed up in one expression
