    MP4500 password reset

    Hi

    we have had a MP4500 returned from a customer that was using Equitrac. The HDD has gone that not a problem, but they have locked the User Tools down, and can't remember the user name and password, any ideas on how to reset?

      press clear stop\print\01231230 this will release equitrac. or try loging in with supervisor no password

          The equitrac not a problem, i tried the supervisor login, and it doesn't have the rights to administor the machine properly, what I need is to turn the "login" button off on the user tools page

              The sole purpose of supervisor is to change the administrators password back to blank and the user name back to admin. Then you can log out, log in and change anything else.
