Scanner on ricoh mp 2550 badr

He guys,i just want to ask,what is the procedure to instal scanner option sd card for using scan to mail and scan to folder.I got the the sd card ,but i ask! just simple put the card in the slot and is over or i need something do to else?

i read this but confuse me,i don't understand why you need hard disk.My upgrade is only for scanner!

You need a HDD for the print/scan option. There is a a scanner enhancement option that gives you advanced scanning features, but you still have to have the print /scan kit installed.
