Setting up Fax Forwarding to FOLDER on MP171

Having trouble setting up Fax Forwarding to folder on the MP171.

I'm fine with the larger models but with the 2 line display models I'm needing help.

When I turn on Fax forwarding at the copier it defaults back to off immediately and can't get the brouse feature to browse back to the shared folder.

If I do scan to folder I have no problem brousing back to the folder.

Also when webing in to the copier under which menu do you turn on Fax forwarding?

You must have at least one folder location pre-programmed (on the quick dial keys) first. It doesn't sound like you have any destinations programmed.
It seems to me you're selecting 'forwarding', then using the button to toggle between, fax, email, folder, etc., which is right, but you then need to select your folder destination from the pre-programmed destinations, and press ok to lock it in.
I'm pretty sure that 'forwarding' can only be turned on initially in "user tools' on the machine itself
