    Is there anyway to add a print controller to this machine and make it work ?

    It all ready has fax installed

      Sorry its a no go. Ricoh Product Guide makes a point of saying that you can't upgrade a 161f with a print scan option.
      At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem.

          Lagonda is correct.

          The MP161MF is a totally different box.
