    [Jamming] Ricoh MP7001 DF Jamming

    DF 062 -- Jamming code of 56, 006, 003 from SMC report -- 46 times

1 sheet would get jam before it reaches registration sensor and it crunched up (I've replaced a whole pickup ass'y, torque limiter, sep roller and registration sensor), but after remove the jam it will run for 200 pages without a problem then it will start it again.

I had one doing the a similar thing. If you remove the rear cover of the DF, look for the wiring loom that goes from the DF i/o board to the paper feed sensors. you may notice they cable tie the loom and the cable ties are very tight. I just cut of the cable ties and has an instant fix! maybe the wiring for the motor or clutch is to tight in the same way.

Also if Ayjay's suggestion doesn't work they did change the feed in covers on this model to a new design, its in the bullitins might be something to look at if you don't another cure.

clean all the patches 1st,specially the 2 under neath once.If not it will be the 2 wire looms that run from the board to the left cover of the Df (the one you open) ITs on Ricoh tech support tier 2.

Sorry to drag this one out of the cellar but I've got three of the buggers DF jamming with 03 and 54 codes. We've changed sensors, pick-up feed and sep rollers, rego and forwarding rollers and all the one-way bearings. About the only thing I haven't changed is the looms. Has anybody proved in the last 18 months that the loom is the problem?
