We took over an account that had just purchased some Ricoh Aficio 9000's. We are a Toshiba dealer and we have the toshiba version of this machine the Estudio901. I have two questions.
First is does anyone have an electronic version of the Service Manual they would be willing to send to me? I know there are always little things here and there that are different between the Manufactuer's manuals even though they are suppsed to be the same.
Second, the machine blew out Fu002 on the Power Supply and the screen went totally black. If you shine a flashlight on the screen, you could see it showing SC601 error code. We installed an new fuse but it immediately blew again. We replaced PCB-B of the Power Supply and it resolved the issue and the machine booted up. Upon warm up, it then showed this message across the bottom of the panel: "Toner Recycle Unit will soon need to be replaced". I have no idea what this message means. It is not listed anywhere in the Toshiba manual for this machine and I cannot understand why you would replace the entire Recycle Unit anyway. While trying to research this message, the machine then shut down and threw a SC487 code for the Toner Collection bottle. The machine only has 300k on it and the bottle was not even half full. Does anyone have any idea what the Toner Recycle unit message means? I am going back out there today to replace the toner collection coil sensor since that SC487 code popped up and that is the only sensor that would not activate in Input mode.
