    [Misc] Printing issues with Ricoh mpc 2500

    Hi,

    Could someone help me with the printing issue. I have attached the sample document for the reference. this issue occurs while printing the color document only.

    The attached file is so small it's hard to really see what's going on. I'm guess from the bottom of the page that you're getting a part of the image repeated? If so, check the drum if it's in a certain colour as well as the fuser if it's a repeat of the entire image. You can also narrow down the cause by rolling the paper until the image and the ghost image are over each other. That will give you the diameter of the part causing the issue, though the fuser rollers and drums sadly are about the same size in these beasts.

      Yes you are correct, the image is getting repeated in the black only if we print in red color image. this is not happening if we print in black. Please let me know which drum unit /fuser part need to be checked.printing issue.jpg

        Check the magenta drum and the overall fuser, especially the oiler and cleaner rollers. If it's just a single colour, I'd lean towards the PCu rather than the fuser, but once one component goes down it's always best to check the rest of them as well.

          It is one of the colour PCU's. Make a copy in "single colour" mode (cyan, magenta, and yellow) this will narrow down which drum unit is causing the issue
