mp2510 squeaking mad!!

these are the things that have been swapped,
fuser unit new
interchange unit
pcu
duplex has been disconnected
bridge unit and finisher removed

it only seems to be squeaking when it gets to the fuser unit. mostly at the late part of the process.
i turned on the forward motor on in output mode but noise cannot be produced.

has anyone had this problem? noise is mainly coming from the right hand side of the machine even without the duplex.

Take the back cover off and put a little oil on the shafts of the drive pack gears for the fuser.

Try cleaning or replacing strippers usually 1st culprit !

I don't work on the little machines too much anymore but have you put in a new transfer roller? I know on a lot of smaller machines they can cause lots of squeaking noises, especially on the older 18 and 22 PPM machines.

had the same or similar problem,tried doing everything listed, found the dust collection box had never been cleaned and after cleaning it out of the built up paper dust, no more squeaking. hope this is your problem.
