    Ricoh MPC 2500

    Hi guys,

I have a customer who prints from a bespoke package, where it looks like you cannot specify the paper type within the application.

The trouble is that they print on a thick paper type on one of the trays and the application will not select thick!!

Are there any solutions or workarounds to overcome this?? as specifying the tray on the copier as thick results in the machine asking for plain paper, when that tray is printed to from that application.

Say they're printing from Sage, set up a seperate printer called "Sage Printer" for the application to use and set the paper type to Thick 1 in Printing Preferences. That's how I normally deal with stupid bespoke packages.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

I thought of that , although they pay a license fee for each printer installed, maybe the only option, thanks for the input.

You could set 'auto continue' to immediate in User Tools. That would override the mismatch.

Your post just remedied a problem similar to this I have on another machine. Thanks, TB.
