    MPC3001+SR3000 - Center Fold with just one staple

    Anybody knows of any way of doing a center fold with just one staple? The staple can be anywhere - center, corner, whatever.

    Anything? Bit switch? SP? SPecial firmware? Anything?

      With a single staple head I'm not sure that's possible on a center fold. I've gotta ask. Why would anybody want just one staple?

          Customer wants job folded. Customer wants job stapled. They don't want two staples because staples are expensive.

                  Remove the staples from the 2nd of the booklet staplers and trip the empty switch on it. Presto, one staple.

                      That was the first thing that ocurred to me - until I noticed the machine only uses 1 stapler...
