    2238C

I have 2 messages. "Fusing oil is almost empty" and " Replace Fusing oil unit". I know about the oil unit on top of the fuser. The customer can do it. But, if my memory serves me correctly, the oil goes in a contanier on the rear of the machine. I assume this is what " fusing oil almost empty" means. So, I will need both the unit and the oil. Right?

No. The only fusing oil is the unit attached to top of fuser. Just replace it.

First message is the status message, second is the resolution. It can kind of throw you, especially after seeing the 12 series boxes.

I believe there is an oil recovery tank on the front of the machine.... but I've never had one of those fill up. I have had it say to reinstall it, but that was just a dirty sensor.
