The primary image is missing 'pixels', and then those pixels make up another 'ghost' image about one-eighth inch later. So I have 2 images very close to each other. Anyone else see this? Need Help! Thanks

Re: ricoh 2075 double image
I'll try to post an image today or tomorrow. I did a hard reset and it almost went away, but a little while later it was back. About half the image is being printed on the main, and the missing pixels are then printed just later, in the exact pattern they were taken.Comment

I put my vote on the Laser Sync Board. I had the exact same issue a couple of years ago at AAA on a similar if not the same model as yours. The pitch of the quad laser beams were off, giving the issue you describe. Below is copied from the Global Knowledge Base....

Re: ricoh 2075 double image
I think I got lucky and fixed it! After having the machine torn down a couple hours and not finding anything, it worked fine. 'Heat buildup' flashed in my mind. (Wherever that came from, I hope it's there next time!) Sure enough the filter at the top in back was plugged. Maybe the hard drive was acting up? These examples were from main cassette, 11" wide. The images were 2mm apart. Thanks for the posts.Comment
