    connect macbook to ricoh scanner

    Hi, do anyone know the way to connect macbook to ricoh scanner ???
    i had tried to share out the folder (SMB) and allow all to every one.... ricoh machine can see the macbook name ..... but when i treid connection test that is failed.....

    please show me the way or step to connect from mac to ricoh scanner.... thank you

      You didn't post the Model number of the Ricoh, or the MAC OS X, so it may not even be compatible, but here's a document that's helped me with those that are. It's for older versions of MAC, but if you have any experience with MAC at all, it should help.

      ALSO
      I'm not positive, but I don't think that SMB is supported in the newest beyond the OS X 10.6

          Thanks for the reply bro... im using mac os x 10.7.2, i wan to connect ricoh 2,3 and mp series color machine...... so do you have any guide line ??

              No, I thought I was pretty clear that this is all I have to offer relating to SMB scanning to MAC OS X

                  As Sandmanmac says scanning to MAC OSX 10.7.X is not possible using SMB. If you want to use scan to folder in this environment scan to FTP is the way to go.
