    Will a PS Chip for a MPC 4500 work in a MP 4000?

      I've not tried it, but I don't see it working.
      I have tried a few p/s 3 cards in a few other models, just on a whim, and have not found a match other than the machines they were programmed for

          PostScript chips are tied to the controller kernel they are made for so they cannot be swapped around.
