hello:: there must be some secret to removing the drum & developer units from ricoh aficio 2075 (savin version). found the 2 screws on the top mounting brackets but it only moves 1/8 of an inch. there must be a way to remove them together or get the developer to slide over so as not to scratch the drum. Obviously i'm not a ricoh guy. any help would be appreciated. Thanx

Removal
Development Unit:
Remove the brown cover (1 screw) near the toner bottle. Remove brown cover in front of the PCU/Development unit (2 screws, 1 yellow connector.) Remove the screw below the toner bottle assembly. The whole assembly should rotate out. Then close the toner supply pipe shutter (rotate up). Remove the black face plate (2 screws, 1 knob). Disconnect the two wiring harnesses from the development unit. Allow the unit to slip to the right, then slowly remove the development unit.
PCU:
Rotate the transfer unit handle to the left. Remove the screw and 2 wires at the top of the PCU. Slide the PCU straight out.Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. ~Theodore Roosevelt
