[Misc] 9922DP - Light Print Quality

Copier prints fine, just every page has a light/faded appearance. Also, recently start having a "blotch" like appearance at the top of the first page of each printout - like a spilled whiteout bottle. Any ideas?

The white blotches are usually a sign of the transfer roller starting to go out on you. I try to do those with every other PCU. If it's black and chunky though, take a look at the fuser and its cleaning roller: there may be enough of a build up that it's not keeping all of the unused toner off the page.

As for the light copies, take a look at both the optics and the slit glass for the laser. It doesn't take much of a buildup to give the copies a light look, though checking the PCU itself is always a good idea too.
