When it fails you will get an error of SC54X, which can't be reset until corrected by a service tech.

Most likely you need to rebuild the fuser with a new upper and lower roller along with the stripper pawls. Are you getting accordion style jams ( /\/\/\___ ) or is it just stopping in the fuser? With a solid copy you will also most likely need to increase the lead edge void. If the upper heat roller is not shiny and smooth but somewhat dull and mottled, then that solid area is going to stick to it.

Usually if there's a paper jamming problem in the Fusing Unit, the suspected part usually is the Stripper Pawl (Fusing Claw). just like what he said, change those parts and your done with your problem.
