[Misc] Remove Extended Feature - Enable Scanner

I have a machine, MPC 4500 that has the extended feature installed but for some reason it stays in "starting up" mode and hence the extended feature is not accessible. I tried removing the feature, however there is no response from the scanner. Only the printer works. Any ideas how to enable the scanning function? Appreciate any help.

It's sounds like you have only java installed and no other applications installed. Go into user tools extended features and where it says starting up tap the feature and it will say ending. Then reboot machine go back into UT EF and it will show stopped. Then go to the install uninstall tab and uninstall the feature. Shut down the machine remove the sd card for the feature. In UT EF you also can assign a key like the scanner key to the feature.
