Used to work on Panasonic machines, Katun toner killed them. But then again, the Panasonic B/W boxes were crap to start with

Also DO NOT forget that Ricoh will cancel your warranty coverage as soon as they figure out that you have used a generic toner. So if you are on a contract you will have to pay to clean up all sh.. left behind by using this generic powder. No excuses accepted - Ricoh doesn't cover cost of repair if something no genuine (recommended) used on their machines.
So, think TWICE before trying to save few $$$ you may end up paying MUCH more than you saved... I mean MUCH more...
All oem toners are ser numbered and log the bottle ser no for Ricoh to check. If none oem toner is fitted, it logs it for Ricoh to see. even if it is not ran on the none oem toner it will log one being inserted in toner history. All contracts and warrantys will not cover as you said but also Ricoh may also refuse to support the machine as it could have created a problem that is not yet evident with toner pumps and dev units. So i agree with most on here, stay well clear of non oem toner as the savings will not cover the damage they can cause.
