    Aficio 2232C horizontal line

Hi i would like to ask about the machine Aficio 2232C. As i was making copies, i have noticed that the back of my paper has a horizontal line. I'm not sure but is there something that i need to check with the transfer area? I already replace the transfer blade. Thank you very much.

If you've replaced the transfer blade, you may want to also check the belt itself for any kind of worn areas as well as do a check on the blade as well just to make sure there isn't any kind of build-up on it that's giving you the issue.

Try running 11X17 paper. Do you get more than one line? If so, how far apart are the lines? Just to clarify, the line is running from front of machine to back of machine? Was the line there before you replaced blade? Sorry for all the questions, but this will be helpful info. in order to assit you.

Check the metal rollers under the belt. It's something that you easily can miss.

I also prefer to replace the transfer cleaning unit completely since the cleaning brush looks worn out after a period of usage. Of course the entire transfer unit, especially the film and rollers should look half-way decent. Still - a new transfer unit just do a better job since a new blade doesn't compensate a worn out brush.
