    duplex jamming mpc6000

    Hi all,

    Have a mpc6000 jamming at location 71.Duplex transport sensor 1.
    Have replaced the whole duplex unit and fuser/ptr tray and still getting the jam.there is no physical obstruction paper stops in duplex station before entering mainframe.
    I have replace the vbcu.
    Anyone had anything similar/suggestions?
    Does not jam on simplex copying either.

      You replaced the duplex unit but I believe the duplex unit has its own drive motors except for the inverter section of the duplex unit. It gets its drive from the rear of the machine. Maybe that motor or a timing issue between the two sections.

          It must be jamming in the latter part of the duplex unit then - I had a motor go many moons ago, B1324785 I think, but like I say it was ages ago and I don't remember the exact details.
