Hello, I changed a customer's black drum and dv unit due to a mark on the page and they were due anyway. The mark is gone but I am now getting a dark gray 1" wide band across the top and a thinner band across the middle of the page. When I take the drums and dv units out, I can see the band on the transfer belt. I can't tell what color it is, maybe more than one. It was definitely not doing this before. I did the SP procedure before replacing them. It was not able to do the Color Registration procedure in the Maintenance section, it said "Unable to perform Auto Color Registration" or close to that. Did replacing these units cause maybe a color drum or two to stop scraping? I can see the mark on the black drum from the transfer belt but I am sure it is not coming from it, I even put the old bk drum and dv unit back on and it did no good.

Yes, but I can't seem to attach or snip the image in here;
I wanted to mention that the back side of the paper has bands in the same places but even darker and more consistent.Comment

Thanks to all of you guys for responding. I have ordered a cleanining unit and will report back my success. Why changing the bk drum and dv unit did this I am not sure, maybe after installing the units the color adjustment it went through was the final straw, and it was at it's time to fail, just by coincidence?Comment
