    [Error Code] Ricoh Aficio AP 3800 C Error code SC-552 & SC-555

Been on this problem for a month now, (Checked connections and wire harness). The pressure roller heats up to 125 then codes out. Replaced the Fuser with brand new. Replaced The BCU board. Down to either the main controller or maby the power supply. Unfortunatly too much money in machine now to get a new one for them. ugh

Before you replace the expensive parts, check the fusing unit connector inside the machine for pieces of paper. Common problem with this machine.

These things were weird even when they were new, especially electronically.

I don't think that we ever had one that ran very well - extremely temperamental.

For what you can lease a brand new machine for, it's not just worth it. It's not like that model has some wonderful redeeming special feature that would make it worth keeping.
