Aficio 1035 black lines

whats the problem with this machine when copying will appear black lines with charge roller bias 1480V,but if set to 1680V the lines will disappear.change new charge roller also the same.

Anyone can give any advice.Thanks...

Do the lines run the full length of the page? OR do they fade progressively across?

These machines had a poor scanner support structure, and when the scanner left front corner got bent, because of heavy books or operators leaning on it, it created all sorts of random lines that drove techs crazy.

The easiest way to check is remove the slit glass cover and check that the left edge of the copy glass is true to the metal frame on which the slit glass rests (of course checking that the lower glass edge is true to the edge of the op panel at the same time).

If this is not the case, grab hold of the left scanner corner and lift it up until the glass sits true.

Run your test copies again, and all should be well.

sorry for the late feedback,scanner should not the cause of the lines,cause when print counter reading,the lines also with appear.

Does the line goes from edge to edge or is it interrupted by the edge erase margin?

try the solution of polarbear. laser units can also cause black lines.
