hi. i would like to ask what kind of cleaning solution do you use to clean the transfer belt for aficio 1045 or 551? thanks.

I use "Replace it". Works like a charm.

Yes - once the surface wears out it doesn't make much sense to clean it. Besides it's more important to keep the rollers inside the transfer unit clean to avoid toner-buildups. Older machines like A350 or A1045 can be modified with an entrance cleaning-felt to improve reliability and avoid banding on the backside of the copies..
