    USING SP MODE 5824 & 5825 in AFICIO 1035/2035

    Hello ,
    With compliments to Copytechnet members ,I have received the MCE RICOH Software and lend a PC CARD A2309352 from one of my friends.
    Now I am facing problem to use SP Mode 5825.
    I have used 5824 to upload firmware of controller etc to PC Card_ executed "5824" and completed screen appears after some time.Subsequently I checked the PC Card with MCERICOH and saw that the card have 4MB data with a different checksum and saved that as a file in my computer_but unable to download that bin file to another unit of same model.
    I want to update a machine from ver 5.23 to 5.25.
    Is there any special setup to download firmware from PC Card to Controller.
    Procedure shown in Service tables of service manual did not worked

      That's not the correct procedure. These machines will load the firmware update screen itself if you turn them on (with the PCMCIA card inserted). SP Mode 5824/5825 has nothing to do with updating the firmware - it's just a backup feature for the NV Ram values. You might follow this checklist:

      - did you get the proper firmware files (for the proper model and the ending *.bin)?
      - did you use the MCE tool correctly (once installed it's basicly easy - I always select "erase card before write" if I prepare a card)?
      - do you have a compatible PCMCIA card (only 4MB cards are supported but not every 4MB card will work due to other specification issues - to avoid troubles it'S recommended to used a card purchased from ricoh)?

          Hi,
          I have 4MB card A2309352 and "Elan PC Card Explorer 3.21" and I can erase /read/write /compare and explore the PC CARD easily.Even save the file uploaded to card from controller of machine to my computer as bin file (4MB).
          Unfortunately I have no bin files available seperately for AFICIO 1035/45 & 2035/45.I am need of Engine/BICU/NETWORK/LANGUAGE and other firmwares.One for 2022 was very kindly be supplied to me by Copymaker .Any help will be deeply appritiated
