    MP7001 jamming at LCT

I installed an LCT set for Legal on a new MP7001, it jams at the LCT feed sensor every 2-30 copies. I have updated the machine firmware, replaced the ROM chip(B3745155) on the LCT main board, set SP5959 to Legal and tried 2 different LCT's and it still jams exactly the same every time. The jam code is J-57 and the paper stops at the LCT feed sensor. Thanks for any help.

You may have just transposed some numbers, but the upgraded eprom for D062 compatability is B4735155.
There is also a bulletin out for the RT43(005) listing several part modifications to improve paper feed.
Before I put one of these old LCT's into service, I usually pull the rear cover and remove all the gears with the one way bearings and clean them along with the pulleys shafts and install new rubber on the primary feed. Works like a charm most of the time.

        Had this last week.
Clean your rego sensor its probably covered in paper dust.
        That should fix it.

A new LCT(B473-57) is what fixed the problem.
