    SCAN USB - MPC2051

    Hello,

    I have set in a MPC2051 USB on a Mac OS 10.7.

    How do I install or set up for scanning?

    Should I use image transfer? Should I install a scanner driver?

    Can you please give me the procedure! Thank you in advance

      According to the scanner reference manual you can't scan to USB on this machine. You can save files to an external USB device such as an SD card or memory stick. You can only scan to folder or email.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          And since you have 10.7, You dont have the smb protocol for scan to folder. Its gonna be email or FTP.

              Another cup of RTFM here

              I think it's not optimal to hook up this machine to your computer/mac via USB performance and functionality-wise, better go with LAN.
