    Savin C2820/Ricoh 2228C Jamming in Door A

    I am working on this old Savin. It is jamming in door A right out of the paper tray. I have replaced all the rollers and feed tires. It now has a broken registration bushing which I had to order. It was broken by someone slamming the door really hard. I don't think that is the root of the problem. Any ideas out there?

      Could be a defective paper feed clutch.

          Thats a good posibility. Once you clear the jam it will seem fine. Then as soon as I leave they call me again cause it has started jamming again. Does that sound like a a clutch to you?
