[Jamming] SR3020 on MCP4000 with staple exit jam Code 195

SR3020 on MCP4000 with staple exit jam Code 195

    Hi All,
I have an issue with a SR3020 on MCP4000 with staple exit jam Code 195

I have updated firmware, replaced exit sensor, Exit gate lift motor, exit gate feed motor, controller PCB, tray sensors.
195 code states exit sensor not detewcting paper as feeds out. test in iput mode ok. work fine in proof and booklet mode and no staples.

    help

Does the paper skew in the finisher? I have seen the springs behind the white plastic float rollers fall out and cause jams in the path towards the stapler.

Also check bulletin RB222015d. It has a firmware upgrade for jam 192,193 & 201. This bulletin does seem to relate to an intermittent fault where it sounds as if your fault is constant.

Can you perhaps post a plotter jam history?

How are the sponge rollers at the exit?

Sponge rollers new, but only used when sorting
        Firmware up to date.
        No skewing evident

Jam code is all 195 which is no paper detection at exit sensor, but checks ok in input mode

Problem caused by binding on the foam rollers and idlers to the belt on exit. This just put too much load on moter that stopped with the slightest amout of extra resistance. Only found after I replaced everything else

Intermittent with thicker staple jobs worse.

So was this resolved by replacing the feed out motor in the finisher?

No the motor didn't actually fix, it made it better(or thought it made better) for a while. It was the foam rollers on the stacker. I dismantled cleaned put a bit of silicon and never played up since
