    Scan to webmail

    The client has Aficio MPC 4501 and he is using MAC in his desktop.He said he cannot do scanning through his gmail or yahoomail account but scanning to his business email is working fine. Is there any setting I have to change in the machine in order to scanning to webmail works?

      If customer is using free gmail, yahoo email scanning will be blocked by service, If using paid services scanning will work.

          Gmail and Yahoo more than likely use SSL for their email transmission which I don't think this model supports. Scanning through most webmail clients is a pain no matter who the provider is.
