Ricoh Aficio 1055 Scanner Problems SC 126

Okay, since my last posting, I have read everything there is to know on the Ricoh Aficio 1055 Scanner problem with the SC 126 and black bands through the copy, as well as the scanner slamming both ways. (Maybe not everything, but my eyeballs are bleeding, anyway).

Saw the guy with the 1055 where he replaced motor and other components, we have tried almost everything.

    Any ideas?

Have you replaced the motor and MCU pwb as a set?

I agree, we have always replaced the scan motor and motor driver board as a set. Also check for loose set screws on pulleys/shafts etc.
Testing 1-2-3, testing, testing. Is this thing on?
